Lesley Ann Brandt was a South African actress and model born on 2 December 1981. Her most well-known roles are in television and movies. Brandt was a model and actress who started her career as an actor in the new Zealand's Diplomatic Immunity sitcom and made her American debut in the role as Naevia in the historical show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress was a part of several television shows over the course of the last decade, such as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies and The Librarians. Brandt is currently appearing as Mazikeen the character of Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fantasy Lucifer. Brandt was raised in the city of Cape Town in South African. The family moved to Auckland, New Zealand with her family when she reached her twenties. Her professional career began when she was a model in print and commercial advertisements. Before her rise to recognition as a model, she worked in the field of retail sales and also served as an IT recruitment consultant. She landed her first featured role in 2009 in the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in which she played the character as Leilani Fa'auigaese. In 2021 she appeared in Spartacus Blood and Sand as an unnamed young slave girl named Naevia. Naevia's role has also been played by her in the Spartacus miniseries Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker was her co-star in three separate TV shows that included Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). The year 2016 saw her was cast playing the role of a bounty hunter named Mazikeen on the Netflix series Lucifer. This happens to be her biggest role to date.
